　　AlthoughthereisavastoceanbetweenChinaandtheUnitedStates,distancehasneverpreventedourtwogreatnationsfromcomingtogether.Andwehaveneverstoppedoureffortstopursuefriendshipandwin-wincooperation.

　　Thankstothejointeffortsofseveralgenerationsofleadersandthepeopleofourtwocountries,historicprogresshasbeenmadeinChina-USrelations.Ithasbenefittedourtwopeoples.Indeed,ithaschangedtheworld.

　　ChinaandtheUnitedStatesnowhavedevelopedintoacommunityofdeeplyintertwinedandsharedinterests.Today,ourtwocountriessharefarmoreandbroadercommoninterests,aswellasgreaterandstrongerresponsibilitiesinupholdingglobalpeaceandpromotingcommondevelopment.ThestrategicdimensionandglobalinfluenceofChina-USrelationshiphavecontinuedtogrow.Overthepasttwodays,wehavehadin-depthexchangeofviewsonhowChinaandtheUnitedStatesshouldseizetheopportunity,riseuptothechallenges,andopenupnewgroundsinourrelations.Together,wehavemappedoutablueprintforadvancingChina-USrelations.

　　WebothagreethatChinaandtheUnitedStatesshouldremainpartners,notrivals.Webothagreethatwhenweworktogether,wecanaccomplishmanygreatthingstothebenefitofourtwocountriesandthewholeworld.

　　ItismyfirmconvictionthatChina-USrelationsfacelimitedchallenges,butboundlesspotentialforgrowth.Withperseverance,wecansurelywriteanewchapterinthehistoryofChina-USrelations.Withperseverance,ourtwogreatnationswilldefinitelymakenewcontributiontocreatingabetterfutureformankind.

　　我们认为中美关系事关两国人民的福祉，也关乎世界的和平、繁荣、稳定，对中美两国来说，合作是唯一正确的选择，共赢才能通向更好的未来。

　　我们认为今年以来中美关系取得重要进展，同意继续发挥元首外交对两国关系的战略引领作用。加强两国高层级各级别交往，充分发挥四个高级别对话机制作用，拓展经贸、两军、执法、人文等领域的交流合作，加强在朝鲜半岛和阿富汗等重大国际地区问题的协调，推动中美关系得到更大的发展。

　　当前中美关系正处在新的历史起点上，中方愿同美方一道，相互尊重，互利互惠，聚焦合作，管控分歧，给两国人民带来更多的获得感，给地区和世界人民带来更多的获得感。

　　中美两国虽然远隔重洋，但地理距离从未阻隔两个伟大国家彼此接近。双方寻求友好交往和互利合作的努力从未停息。

　　在中美几代领导人和两国人民的共同努力下，中美关系实现了历史性发展，造福了两国人民，改变了世界格局。

　　今天中美关系已经变成你中有我、我中有你的利益共同体。现在，两国在维护世界和平、促进共同发展方面拥有更多、更广的共同利益，肩负更大、更重的共同责任，中美关系的战略意义和全球影响进一步上升。

　　两天来，我们就中美应该如何抓住机遇、应对挑战以及开辟中美关系新篇章深入交换了意见。我同特朗普总统共同规划了未来一个时期中美关系发展的蓝图。

　　我们一致认为，中美应该成为伙伴而不是对手，两国合作可以办成许多有利于两国和世界的大事。

　　我坚信，中美关系面临的挑战是有限的，发展的潜力是无限的。只要本着坚韧不拔、锲而不舍的精神，我们就一定能谱写中美关系新的历史篇章，中美两国一定能为人类美好未来作出新的贡献。
