　　利弊类文章，同样强调在论证上要体现合理性，即在具体的分析中，明确能体现出一边的论述的确是大于另一边，或是利弊均等，而利弊是否有说服力并不取决于观点的数量，而是内容是否有说服力。

　　在具体利弊的切入点，可以从题目的关键词中寻找线索，这道题目中的关键词是shown on TV，以及the general public, 我们在写利弊的时候一定考虑到是源自于电视转播和公众参与审判的过程，从而导致的后果；同时还可以考虑到具体的利弊所影响到的群体，同审判相关的群体包括，被告，受害者，法官，以及电视观众，可以分别考虑对于不同群体的不容具体影响。

　　It is an increasing trend that a more governments tend to televise the process of court cases so as to emphasize the importance of legal awareness. While this approach is frowned upon by some critics, I tend to see this action from a more positive perspective.

　　Indeed, there do exist some reasons as to why it is reckoned as negative to have cameras in courtrooms. One of the most frequently mentioned worries is the leak of identities of individuals involved in the case, whether these be victims, witnesses, or defendants – I doubt anyone entangled in criminal cases would like to be a celebrity on mass media in such a way that makes them embarrassed. It is particularly unfair to the accused, who remain innocent until proven guilty during the trial process. Unfortunately, however, many audiences are prone to jump to a guilty conclusion while watching someone sitting in the court being questioned by the judge.

　　Despite the recognition of the downside of televising criminal trials, I would argue that the positive effects of the approach deserve more attention. Of all reasons why the proceeding needs to be televised, the primary advantage is the educational function in raising the social awareness of law: by watching how law breakers are sentenced, people are able to see for themselves whether and how justice has been served and therefore enhance the legal knowledge and confidence in legal forces. In addition, or as a return, when under camera, the procedure of the trial is put under the supervision of the general public, which makes the justice system open and honest rather than something that happens in secret that most of the country is not privy to.

　　In conclusion, despite the apprehension of the drawback of televising criminal trials, it is the advantages in terms of education and fairness that win me over.
