　　过去完成时： 形式：had done

　　含义：1.一件事情发生在过去，而另外一件发生在过去的过去。

　　2. 从过去某一时间开始，一直延续到过去的另一时间的动作。

　　3. Hardly /scarcely / barely had… done…when…

　　No sooner had…done…than…

　　从句一般过去时，主句过去完成时

　　4.It was+一段时间+since从句

　　It had been+一段时间+since从句

　　Since从句用过去完成时

　　5.That was the first time+that从句

　　It was the first second time+that从句

　　That从句谓语用过去完成时

　　6.表示愿望，打算一类的词，hope expect mean intend want think suppose,过去完成时表示过去未曾实现的愿望或意图

　　A: Oh no! we’re too late. The train (leave, already)___________________.

　　B: That’s Okay. We’ll catch the next train to Athens.

　　Last Thursday, we went to the station to catch a train to Athens, but we were too late. The train (leave, already)_______________.

　　A: Go to sleep. It’s only six O’clock in the morning.

　　B: I’m not sleepy. I (sleep, already)____________________for eight hours. I’m going to get up.

　　I woke up at six this morning, but I couldn’t get back to sleep. I wasn’t sleepy. I (sleep, already)__________ for eight hours.

　　A: I’ll introduce you to Professor Newton, but it wasn’t necessary. I (meet, already)____________him.

　　Jack offered to introduce you to professor Newton, but it wasn’t necessary. I (meet, already) ________________________him.
